In September 2025, Polandball Go launched worldwide on iOS and Android: a location-based game where you collect Polbies, capture real-world territory, and compete with players everywhere. The launch version shipped with 45+ Polbies, the core collect-conquer-compete loop, and cross-platform support.

The first updates

Version 1 moved fast. Patch 1.1 added deployment to Allied Territories, the Territory Manager for tracking everything you own, and the first tutorial system. Patch 1.2 brought 30+ new Polbies, daily streak rewards, new music, and new potions and inventory items.

The first expansions

October’s The Steel Curtain (1.3) was the game’s first themed banner, built around the Soviet Union’s defensive fortifications, and came with quality-of-life wins: a quick deployment menu, quick Influence collection, and character tags.

Patch 1.4 introduced the referral system — including the exclusive mythical character Earth — plus the friend system and guest sign-in for players trying out the game.

Version 1 closed with Legacy of Joseon (1.5) in November, a banner themed around the Korean Joseon Dynasty, alongside abilities for minor characters, an improved battle screen, and account linking with Google, Apple ID and Discord.

From 45 Polbies to a worldwide strategy game — the rest of the story continues in The Version 2 Era.
